" Stephen King begins this book with an autobiographical sketch of his life. It was fascinating to hear the stories from his babyhood, and these stories helped me understand why he writes horror novels. The 2nd section of the book focuses on his writing tips based upon many years of successful writing. Although I did non agree with everything, I certainly did choice upward helpful ideas. I did not enjoy the profanity, merely otherwise the volume was very entertaining and interesting. "

" Stephen King begins this book with an autobiographical sketch of his life. The stories from his childhood are fascinating, and this background helped me empathise why he writes horror novels. The second section of the volume focuses on HIS tips for successful writing.
